Well hello there.
Welcome to the NASA section of the MSF forums. It is my goal to serve as a valuable resource for the entire group on topics relating to NASA and safety. Please don't hesitate to ask/share any questions, thoughts, or opinions you may have on a certain subject matter.
I have served as an official with the Southeast and Florida regions of the National Auto Sport Association (NASA) since 2009. With over 10 years of experience in the motorsport industry working as a corner marshal and assisting in scrutineering for regional and national events. I currently have the roles of Chief of Race Control & Race Director with NASA Southeast, NASA Florida, and NASA's Eastern States Championships.
In addition to volunteering as an official, I also race in the NASA Performance Touring D and Time Trial D classes. I campaign a 2013 Scion FR-S and have been one of the few pioneers developing this platform into a competitive club racer. When not at the race track, I can be found at my local kart club, 103rd Street Karting Complex, in Jacksonville. My plans for the foreseeable future involve LO206 kart racing and some endurance karting events with friends and family.
I currently reside in Fernandina Beach, FL with my wife and 2 young children. All the time spent in the tower and as a marshal have shed a significant light on the importance of safety in motorsport, and I consistently put in an effort to spread this awarenes and share what I learn with others.
