Announcing 3rd Annual Racers Know Dave Dusick Charity Event
Thursday, December 7, 2017 at the Treasury in Indianapolis
MIAMI, FL (October 26, 2017) – The Motorsport Safety Foundation is partnering with the Dave Dusick Foundation for its third annual charity event to be held on Thursday, December 7, during PRI Week 2017. Connect, mingle and have fun while making a positive impact on the lives of Indiana’s ailing children and their families. The Racers Know Dave Dusick Charity Event is being hosted at Indianapolis’ newest up-and-coming event venue, the Treasury, located just 10 minutes from downtown.
Doors for the event will open at 6:00 p.m. with a cash bar, food stations and live entertainment until midnight. Racing and sports memorabilia, a ‘Whiskey Wall’ and several other enticing items will be up for raffle.
“I cannot thank the motorsports community enough for the generous outreach of support of the Racers Know Dave Dusick Charity Event,” says Dave Dusick. “It is really an honor to work in an industry that helps support each other and charitable causes throughout the year.”
Proceeds from the Racers Know Dave Dusick Charity Event will benefit the Dave Dusick Foundation, a not-for-profit entity whose mission is to provide support to families that have a child who suffers from a life-threatening or life-altering illness. All of the proceeds from the DD Foundation currently go directly to Riley Hospital for Children.
“Riley Hospital for Children is recognized as one of the best children’s hospitals in the nation and is the only comprehensive children’s research hospital in the state of Indiana,” stated Laura Buckner, Senior Communications Officer of Riley’s Children’s Foundation. “We could not offer that level of expert care, and depth and breadth of research, without philanthropic support. We are incredibly grateful for the volunteers, sponsors and donors of the Racers Know Dave Dusick Charity Event. They are helping us deliver world-class care to sick and injured kids in Indiana.”
Indianapolis has often been called the “Racing Capital of the World,” and the Motorsport Safety Foundation is proud to partner with the Dave Dusick Foundation in hopes of raising funds and awareness for the city’s exemplary children’s hospital, Riley Hospital for Children.

The Dave Dusick Foundation is a not-for-profit entity dedicated to providing support to families that have a child who suffers from a life-threatening or life-altering illness. This support can be personal, emotional or financial. The successful ending to Dave’s story is a result of the staff and community of the Riley Hospital for Children. As the only comprehensive children’s hospital in Indiana, Riley Hospital for Children has spent 85 years caring for Indiana’s children. Dave is just one of many who have passed thru Riley with outstanding results. By sharing his story, Dave hopes to raise awareness for this storied facility. For this reason, the Dave Dusick Foundation currently donates all the proceeds from this project directly to the Riley Children’s Foundation.
