Motorsports Enthusiasts HPDE Becomes CERTIFIED by the Motorsport Safety Foundation

May 1, 2019

Motorsports Enthusiasts HPDE (MoE HPDE) has achieved Level 2 certification in the Motorsport Safety Foundation’s High Performance Driver Education (HPDE) Instructor Training initiative, CERTIFIED. Based out of New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, NJ, MoE HPDE is an organization that caters to the novice through advanced driver, who wants to build more seat time in a structured and fun driving environment.

“MoE HPDE is happy to announce that we are now CERTIFIED as a Level 2 HPDE organization,” said Founder Maurice Colontonio. “Our focus is on maximizing track time, building our skills as drivers, and having a blast in the process! We strive to maintain a diverse, relaxed, and safe training environment. The CERTIFIED program is a powerful tool to add to our club, and we are eager to begin the 2019 Driver Education Season with MSF by our side.”

The CERTIFIED program was established to improve the standards and operations of HPDE schools, instructor training programs and instructors in order to provide a safer and better quality experience for all involved. The nonprofit believes it is important that all instructors work from the same baseline, and continue their training at an Instructor Training School (ITS) that offers a curriculum that covers, at a minimum, the standards outlined by the Motorsport Safety Foundation.

Motorsports Enthusiasts HPDE offers drivers 6 sessions per group each day, for novice, intermediate, and advanced drivers. The club also hosts private groups for corporate events, parties, or just groups of friends. 9 events are currently scheduled at New Jersey Motorsports Park for the 2019 season, with a Level 2 in-person training session slated for June.
