Motorsports Safety Foundation (MSF) announces additions to the Board of Directors
May 17, 2023, Los Angeles, CA. The Motorsports Safety Foundation (MSF) announces additions to its existing Board of Directors. MSF, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that specializes in motorsports safety programs and HPDE ongoing instructor training certifications, is expanding its board from three members to seven.
In addition to MSF founder Scot Elkins, motorsports coach and author Ross Bentley and driver/veteran HPDE instructor Eric Meyer, the new board includes Eric Kaul, Chuck Tucker, Rod Susman and Greg Haas.
The new additions will allow for greater MSF program growth and expansion into additional levels of HPDE instructor training. These new training levels (MSF levels 3, 4, 5 and beyond) will focus on increased safety, advanced instructor training, classroom teaching, mentor certification and additional HPDE certifications.
MSF President Scot Elkins offers “Ross, Eric and I are excited to work with our new and diverse team of industry experts. With the additional resources and experience that Chuck, Rod, Greg, and Eric bring to the table, we can increase our drive to meet and exceed industry needs and continue to provide instructor safety and training programs for the HPDE community”.
The new board members will support increased member communications, member outreach programs, market research and development of curricula for advanced MSF certification levels.
The Board of Directors is supported by the MSF Advisory Council, which is a peer group consisting of representatives from the HPDE community, including: BMW Car Club of America, Porsche Club of America, Hooked on Driving, Chin Track Days, Porsche Experience Center, Lockton Motorsports, Audi Club of North America and MotorsportReg.
